                The Velammal Group of Schools under the aegis of Chairman Mr.Muthuramalingam M V began its footprint in the year 1986 in a thatched roof with just 183 students and 13 teachers at this sprawling campus at Mogappair, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Currently the school has around 15,000 students and 1,500 staff. After years of conviction Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, “Velammal Gardens”, T.S Krishna Nagar, Mugappair, Chennai became a flagship school for all the Velammal schools.    As years passed by with the Velammal Group spreading its wings across the state of Tamil Nadu with diversified institutions and Educational system. Mr. Velmohan M V M started a trust in the name and style of Muthuramalingam Kuncharavalli Educational Trust on 23.11.2015.
